Background

GLC was established in 2001 by three local families who shared the need for this type of school for their children and others in Pitt County. They sought the guidance of The Hill Center in Durham, North Carolina, a nationally recognized school and leader in the field of Learning Disability Education. GLC is modeled after this successful program and uses its research-based, proven teaching methods as the main teaching methodology.
